Time for an Avatar change

My poor little "Millie" passed away last year & I couldn't bring myself to change her Avatar.
She was a Homey looking bird that I chose because I figured no one else would want her.
She was a real sweet heart & spoiled rotten. She became top girl in the "Blue" flock.
Can't remember when I got her, best estimate is maybe 6 years - bye bye Millie

Last year I had a 4 day trip to Vancouver planned.
Removed ALL eggs while hubby was babysitting
3 silkie females setting is near impossible to change
Came home and checked on my birds...could swear I heard a chirp?!?!
Moved the other birds into a new pen & set out chick water & feed "just in case"
Next few days I was able to get a glimpse of the CUTEST chick evah!!!!
Chick is a Naked neck frizzle silkie AND she is a female.
(Did DNA test because the last thing I need is another rooster)

So it was time to change my Millie Avatar and introduce my unexpected little Zsa Zsa

I can empathise Poultryprincess. Years ago I was on a dog forum and had my two black labs as my avatar as well as a sign off which included their names. When they both died within two months of each other I couldn't bring myself to go back to that forum :(.

So sorry to hear that you lost Millie. Congratulations on Zsa Zsa :).
