Good morning! Looks like there is more precipitation and lower temperatures on the way.

I have one broody too... one of the Wyandottes I got from you @Killerbunny. Not sure what it is about yours as any other Wyandottes I’ve had have never gone broody!

I must say that over the years I have had this line (or two) the broodiness went from infrequent, to somewhat frequent, I am just assuming since they make excellent mothers, that they like living here and would like to bring up their children here

Nasty morning here. Even the turkeys just looked at me as if I was stupid to let them out! Vicious gusting wind and blowing snow.

Re: Good Morning!
Yes, really nasty wind gusts and blowing snow here as well. Of course the commuter bus was late this morning due to less than ideal road conditions, and so the wait outside was longer than usual too. The quail pen tarp stays battened down during weather like this . None of my chickens were interested in staying out once their fermented feed was consumed, and the Brabanters went back to their coop as soon as they could get past the old girls. Integration is still a work in progress. I am leaving the baby coop pop door open during the day on miserable windy days like this when it's just not nice out in the run, only because the old girls still aren't letting the Brabanters into the main coop during the day.
Also, Charlie the Brabanter cockerel tends to crow a lot when it's windy, and at least if they're inside the baby coop and not out in the run, the noise is muffled a bit.

Re: Good Morning!
Good morning,
Sunny and cold, at least it looks pretty
Decided to name the Black Wyandotte cockerel "Jewel" his type is still excellent, but his hackles are now sporting flaming gold streaks so very colorful for this Blue and White flock :)
May try to breed him to Blue and Splash hens, will see how April turns out
Have a safe one!
