Re: Good Morning!
I’m jealous of you banana belt people with your potatoes and tomatoes in June. It feels like we live in different countries!
I got half of my fence done. The front half lol. Any guesses on how long it will take me to finish the back half that nobody sees? Lol I had a very dedicated helper while I was staining. She kept a close eye to ensure I didn’t miss any spots on the bottom foot of each and every board.

Re: Good Morning!
Well yesterday am was a bit fraught with the junior turkey being bullied off the nest. When I went to check I found all 5 eggs pipped, cold and no Mum around. Soooooo, Miss Bitts was on some turkey eggs not so far along so I swapped them out in the hope she could sav them as they were still cheeping a bit and put her 5 in the turkey nest in the hope she'd go back. This am there are at least 3 little heads sticking out! Good for her.

Re: Good Morning!
Wow, @Killerbunny last minute save, pretty impressive !!!!
It's a great looking fence @Happy :)
Raining here, so no need to water, I see some blooms on the tomato plant, but I think they were there when I bought them.
Broody off the nest yesterday, yelling her head off, I think I heard something like...EXACTLY HOW LONG am I supposed to be sitting here???????

Nice save @Killerbunny !
@Ontario Chick I have 6 broodies you can pick from.....these guys just aren't moving
you are more than welcome to stick eggs under them....better yet...I'll lend them to you for a month or so
I have another 3 in another coop who aren't moving either.
Oh well.......down 6 eggs every couple of days.

Total 5 new fuzzies. What a good girl even if she does have quite the mouth on her.

Morning all. Almost two weeks ago I visited my mother and youngest sister, only the second time I've seen them in 10 years. It was a very nice visit, but the pair of them are doubly exhausting and I'm still recovering

Re: Good Morning!
I would expect they are recovering too. I'm off to Alberta for a wedding and my mom's 90th. Will take me a wile to recover too. Take care all.windwalkingwolf wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 3:25 pmMorning all. Almost two weeks ago I visited my mother and youngest sister, only the second time I've seen them in 10 years. Re: Good Morning!
Good morning, though I have not gone to bed yet, so I guess it is still night. Only 3 more days of work left and about 2.5 weeks until our 3 week family trip driving out West all the way to Vancouver Island. Lots of work to do before we leave.
Eggs in the incubator are hatching as I type... just a small batch of about 3 dozen eggs.... Ayam cemani, BC marans, Crele Legbar and Opal Legbars.
I will update after hatch is over.
Good night.
