Well, plenty of snow, saw the moon eclipse, somewhat freaky when you realize it is OUR shadow you are looking at....
Our driveway looks like plowed field, because the ridges caused by snow blower blew over immediately forming these long snowy rows.
The deer, mama and baby decided that the best out of the wind spot with plenty of cedars to eat is just behind the house, they were driving the dog crazy, but no way were they moving on, Thank you very much, they look like bears they are so fuzzy apparently they had a word about the wether coming, while I was still hoping it wasn't happening. ;)
Have a safe one!

OK you made me Ross...
The Baby in full winter coat, you can tell by the traces that there was "taste testing" between the hedge on the right and hedge on the left, mama is by the barn, stripping my carefully tended free standing cedars, my effort at landscaping in front of the barn.
What was I thinking :-)

BTW on my walk today figured out why they wouldn't move even when the dog was making a racket, they were obviously looking for a place to settle for the night (these are urban deer, they sleep at night and browse during the day,) found the place where mama and Baby spent the night, just behind the back fence of the chicken run, two deep depressions one smaller and one big one.

Yep a few years back when had a bad snowy winter the deer across road in farmers 300’ farm lane had cleared all the foliage off the cedars up to as far as they could reach standing up on hind feet . Looked like umbrellas . Started on mine by jumping over 5’ wooden corral fence till I put some solar panel type red light lane guides & stopped um completely.

-31? thats warm - -33 then wind = -37

Tractor was caughing and losing power when snowblowing on Sunday. Water in the fuel system yeeha! gotta drain the filters and hopefully that does it. Otherwise gotta get new filters - not fun - awkward position under the loader - diesel runs down your arm - rubber gasket and a glass bowl on the bottom. New filters don't have the right size gasket in the box so using an old one. Overtighten and break the glass. sheesh, what a design! waiting until this aft -14 or tomorrow near 0 to do it. been snowed in a day and maybe today as well (left a vehicle at the bottom of driveway). at least the old snowmobile runs!
