Colorado Low

Post by muffin57 » Thu Dec 27, 2018 4:45 pm

Our first major snow storm of the season. We are getting hit with a Colorado low system that started in the early morning hours and they forecast will continue until sometime Friday morning. Glad that we got family Christmas gathering in yesterday before this storm hit. Here are a few pictures of all the beautiful white stuff. Just glad we don't have to go anywhere for awhile.

Cute Ross. I'm not sure whether if it is headed your way or not, but they are predicting 15-20cm more tonight. There were a lot of delays at the TB airport today. Not that it affected me. I'm not going anywhere. We needed this snow though, as we didn't have much.

Hubby got the snow cleaned up yesterday. He used his skidder, as the snow was so heavy. Yesterday was sunny like today, but it is cold. Last night it was feeling like -31. Right now it is -12 feeling like -18. We are suppose to get some more snow Sunday and Monday, so it's warming up a bit until Tuesday and the cold comes back. I don't think we are going to see a 10 or 11 high day for a while, but Friday it is suppose to be -1 so that might be a good day to go to town.
