The Cat Carol by Meryn Cadell, but beware, it will make you cry!
Ok I was warned but you're right.
Our poor little Muppet would sleep in snowdrifts when we first saw him I assume he was a drop off. DH would feed him and we put up a little outdoor cat house for him. He was such a character after he got up the courage to come and live with us. We still miss him.

Killerbunny - you had me with this bump! I'm like - oh! thats neat I'll have to say I dislike Christmas country and like the Irish Rovers - then it was - I answered that already? Did I go on a bender and forget what I posted? OMG I'm getting old! look a little closer - it was a thread from last year - whew - I still didn't remember it!

And on the subject of The Cat Carol. For the last 2 nights we have had a small visitor at the kitchen door. Almost coming in but not quite. She is eating the offerings though. I wonder if her people have visitors so she has left for a couple of days?

Ohhh, I was going to say that, but was afraid of reprisals ;)
BTW I may have a new favorite Christmas song (didn't really have any until now)
Kathleen Edwards (local musician)....
"It's Christmas , let's just survive "....

I didn't get the sense she was a stray. The last one that turned up left after 3 days and went home. I suppose we failed the interview!
