Friday's Tornado

Post by muffin57 » Mon Sep 24, 2018 5:51 pm

I hope everyone is safe from that horrific tornado. Were any of our members on PTO affected by it? We had a lot of rain with wind and power outages caused by fallen trees, but we were very fortunate not to have a tornado. Very shocking the images of devastation seen on tv.

Thanks for caring, @muffin57 . Most of the PTO regulars who live in the general area of Ottawa have checked in on the "Good Morning" thread. I think most of us had power outages, but as far as I know, no one that checked in experienced any significant damage to property, livestock, themselves or their family.

That's good if the extent of it all were some power outages. Glad to hear.

Wind is so scary. The wind here was like 40-60km, as in Southern Ontario it was 265km winds where the tornadoes occurred. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with all those people affected by the storm.
