okay so aren't these just cushion combed birchen (ER/ER) barred black birds?
Yes but no LOL The barring is not the same as in barred rock or cuckoo anything. I don't remember where I read it...will have a look later when I get a minute...but if I recall correctly, it's birchen, dark brown and something to do with Pg, all homozygous. I think. For simplification, often shortened to Fay (for Fayoumi lol). Breeding one of these birds to a regular barred would result in a muddy mess.

If someone in Ontario wants Death Layers I can see if the breeder in BC has any chicks. I m suppose to have some replacement chicks of another breed coming from BC hopefully soon.

I have looked at the Deathlayers.... just too many projects on the go at the moment. There are a few breeders in Western Canada that have them. I may end up with some you never know.
Thanks JimW. Don't think I have the quote thing figured out but I did contact a breeder and am hopeful of making something work soon. Seems those of us refusing to go on Facebook are somewhat at
a disadvantage. Thanks for the info.

I think they cost $120 Canadian each.
