Sad News.
For many who have been around the fairs and poultry shows through out the province , Dave " Humper " Affleck was avid bird fancier and a regular who lived to go to the fairs & shows with his birds .He was from the Harrow Ontario area ( Windsor ) . Sadly Dave was killed in an car accident on Sunday afternoon July 8th ,2018 just out side of Kingsville ON. Dave was a friendly sort who to my knowledge never had a bad word to say about anyone and had no enemies in this world. A truly good person who would help you out anyway he could . I as many on this site ,have known Dave since he was a kid. He loved the Royal Winter Fair and anything to do with birds and agriculture. He leaves behind several brothers a sister and his mom. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

OMG, this is a huge loss to the wonderful Affleck family and all of us in the hobby!! Dave was a great friend to a lot of us and like Troy mentions, he never had a bad word to say about anybody. My family and I had a special bond with Dave and his family for many, many years. Dave and his late father Bob would come up to our place for dinner at times while working at the Royal Winter Fair in the Fall. We will always have and cherish those great memories. To say that he will be missed, is an understatement! Rest in peace my dear buddy and our deepest condolences to his sister and brothers. Pete, Lisa and Meghan.
