Canada! Be happy, stay safe, everyone. It's a jungle out there, with everyone travelling either for last minute shopping, to vacations, or to find somewhere to beat the heat.

Ross, I thought there would have been a few more Chanteclears in Canada, but who am I to question your word. If there are only two, there are only two.
Happy Canada day.

Happy Canada Day!
I made the mistake of saying "beach" to my lab and that is one of about 5 words that he knows so off to the dog friendly part of Wasaga Beach for a cool off before it gets too crazy! Stay cool

Have a great one all. Nearly 30 years here for us.
Thought you'd like the new gazebo and turkey misting station we put up in honour. Didn't have enough skids to make a really redneck one!
It gives good shade when the sun comes around a bit.

Love it,
@Killerbunny !
We are in the process of installing a cabana for the quail.

We discovered yesterday that the quail are very happy to sit on a flat 10" x12" cooler ice pack to beat the heat, so we thought it would be a good idea to provide them with some kind of shade covering over top of it. It's actually not for shade, because they already have it, but more for a modicum of privacy, which is something quail seem to really appreciate.

Happy Canada Day everyone! It's cool and cloudy here. Forecast is for rain or thunderstorms in the morning and the afternoon, with clearing in the evening. Maybe it will be nice for the fireworks. Back to heat (30 or so degrees) next week. I have 11 eggs in lockdown, hoping for some Canada Day chicks to hatch.

Happy Canada Day to you all! Yes, yesterday was a scorcher here weather wise. Quite the thunderstorms we had in the morning and then it was like 40, a day spent trying to keep cool and stay in the shade. Today is cloudy and rainy. We'll be spending Canada Day at home. Have a safe and happy holiday!
