I'm down too.....from 14 to 4 with 5 broody girls! I'm hoping today will inspire them to lay.

I just got 11 from13 hens, and a couple of them are over 5 yrs old, pensioners.

Farrier1987. South of Chatham on Lake Erie. Chickens, goats, horse, garden, dog, cat. Worked all over the world. Know a little bit about a lot of things. No incubator, broody hens.

Hey, so it's not just me. The first week or two my two adults laid one each daily. Now there's one a day. I was going to ask if it's because they are eating duck grower and chick starter. I am still a bit worried, because the one egg is always the same tint, whereas when there were two, one was darker than the other. So I think maybe one is laying and the other isn't. Or she's hiding hers. They seem fine.

Egg count was up to 11 here, and getting to be more like it should be, on average.
