Do you kiss your chickens?
Taking a poll. Do you kiss your chickens? Can a chicken catch a cold sore from me? Can I get cocadidilosis from them, or is that species specific?
So I would like to know who does or does not kiss their chickens. Some do, some don't but inquiring minds want to know. WLL is doing research on this. She is kissing the Americaunas, but not the leghorns and seeing which ones lay better. It seems top have worked with her turkeys, but she is not sure it works every time, so is doing scientific research.
Your Input will be appreciated and evaluated. Thank you.

Re: Do you kiss your chickens?
being a scientist-i was at an international meeting just as the H1N1 (also known as swine flu because it originated in swine and then jumped to people) had just been announced, and the first speaker opened his talk with a photo of a young girl kissing a pig on the nose, with the caption of "this might not have been the best idea".....
NO i never kiss my chickens. i actually don't even cuddle them.....if they need to be transported they're under my arm and go place a to b and that's it. unless it's an attack rooster, in which case he gets carried around until he stops being aggressive. but no cuddling, no hugging, no kissing. besides, what on earth would my DH think??!!!

Oh no! Am I the only one? I can't help myself from kissing them on their soft, feathery necks.
Come on Lucky, I bet you're a chicken kisser too {LOL}.
