Re: HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

We had our "mother's day" yesterday (Monday) since I and my oldest son had to work days Sunday morning. Got Chinese take out, and also an order of shrimp curry. I haven't touched curry in over 20 years, because of a VERY bad experience with curry...I used to love it, until one time I ordered some at a Greek restaurant (you'd think that would be a red flag lol) and it tasted SO bad, that ever since, I haven't touched the stuff, and even the smell of coriander made me lose my appetite. I swear the sauce was made from olives (which I hate) and coriander and nothing else. Seriously, who puts olives in curry? Greeks, that's who. Well, yesterday I wanted something spicy, and Canadian Chinese food is NOT, so I took a chance. At a Chinese restaurant, that we hardly ever go to because their food quality tends to be, er, spotty, but our regular one is closed Mondays. It was AMAZING. And nice and hot. I'm reconverted to curry! Happy mothers day to me :D
