Cracked egg
About ten days ago my pilgrim gander decide to pick a fight with my Tamworth boar and the goose lost the fight. The goose will live, but he is going to be one legged. I only have one pair of geese, so I was excited that I got three eggs from my girl last week, as I really need to hatch out a new gander. One of the eggs was cracked so I sealed the crack with beeswax. I just candling the eggs and all three have babies in them, even the cracked one!! I had to share on this forum because you guys are the only ones who will understand how ELATED I am over seeing little developing gooslings inside all three eggs. I didn't expect the beeswax thing to work. If these little guys make it they will be some of the most spoiled geese ever.
