Yes Farrier my bantams go broodie will sit and sit and sit, excellent egg layers as well

The real issue is there are so many different purebreads, it's hard to choose just one. So, go for a couple of every type....but wait.......that's chicken math :stars:

Wow what a great resource! Looks like my latest acquisition, polish, won't be broody either. I love this forum.

LOL...maybe Ill buy a few purebreds every year, something different each time. So freakin addicting!!!

A farm a few km from me does that! He orders chicks, a few different breeds every January-February, from Performance Poultry http://www.performancepoultry.com/poultry.php
and come fall, sells off his extras. Just to have something different every year.
They have a huge selection of hatchery quality breeds, but limited supply on some of the hard to find ones.

So, by accident my current hatch should have been all Silkies...and look what I hatched.....
