I feel so sorry for ya all back there with the odd spring you are having . I have to mow the lawn for the 2nd time this week .First of the season chicks should be turned out this week into the outdoor runs ,but the rain will have to stop before that happens.

Yikes! I don't want 30cm, although I prefer that to an ice storm. Where are you la-chicken? I did hear some good news this morning, they said all this ice and snow should clear up for our Canada day celebrations, so that's good..... I think.

Just east of the Rocky Mountains. Love the mountains. Not liking so much snow.

Back roads here are still horrible. I haven't seen a plow all weekend around my place. Not going to work today.
MJ and I are in the same boat, Happy....even the township garbage pickup is being put off today...can't really say I mind...although, i had taken in all the bird feeders last week after cowbirds showed up, but put a couple back out this morning...seems to be appreciated.. :run:

Yes KB...and not only that, but in this township there is a system in place to collect all the private road trash ( i.e. seasonal ) on one day and regular resident trash on another day...soooooo...living off a private road yet being a regular resident i can miss my main pickup which in my case is Monday but leave my tagged bag at the neighbour out on the main road on Wednesday...talk about a win win..lol :run:

My hens have also had enough of this weird weather; they're getting cabin fever and starting to argue among themselves.... as in getting very pecky with each other. They can get outside the barn into an enclosure, but with this weather, who'd want to?
