speckled one day, solid the next - is this normal?

Biscuit is the first Welsummer I've ever had, and she just started laying a couple of weeks ago. Her first egg shell was kind of mottled in colour, and then her next egg was solid medium brown. The one after that was speckled, and the next two after that were solid brown in colour again, and a bit darker in hue. Then she laid one with really dark speckles, followed by another solid brown. Yesterday she laid another speckled egg. Is this normal? Will she be alternating between solid and speckled all the time?
Here's a sampling of what she's laid thus far ...

I have several Welsummers and over the last couple of years they do this...sometimes speckled sometimes not!
It’s always fun to see what comes next lol!

I've had welsommers and yes. they seem to lay like that, some more consistant than others
Always loved the speckled ones best!
