Happy Chinese New Year.

Post by Farrier1987 » Fri Feb 16, 2018 5:20 pm

Today is Chinese New year. I think this year is the year of the wombat, but I am not sure. Might be the year of the wolf too, if you are a wind walker or something. The year of the cock is the favorite around our place, but it can be hard to remember when it is.

Anyway, off tomorrow for Chinese New Year meal at my Chinese friends in Ridgetown. Some good food and good company look likely.

Happy Chinese New year all.

One year my work sent me to Thailand during Chinese New Year, it was amazing to see the celebrations.

A good friend of mine is Asian and she told me that she has been served dog, she said in her culture it would be a huge insult to refuse. Now she is married to a Canadian guy and he noticed that their neighbour's dog loved everyone except my friend, in an evil sounding voice she said to her husband, "he knows I eat his kind, muhahaha".
:lunch: :dog:

Regarding all the above comments, you guys have a bratty sense of humour!
