No heat here, but my coop is in a lean-to attached to the garage. I knock the ice out of their water bowl before I fill it in the morning.

No heat here, the main layer hens do have a heated bowl so they have access to plenty of water 24/7. The silkies all dog pile in their respective coops and the main layers have enough in there to keep the mini barn they house in pretty decent...
