got another issue, its been going on awhile but she is really being blatant about it now.... I've been having a race each day to get the eggs layed by outside hens before my cat does. shes the old matriarch around the farm and rehoming her is unthinkable but dang it now this morning she was laying in the crevasse between big bales where hens often lay with an open egg in front of her, she bites open a quarter size hole and licks out the contents, so help me she smiled at me, brat! I've used porcelain eggs to induce laying where I can reach but she steals them....any one else ever deal with cat burglers??

Wow never heard of a cat doing that, dogs yes but not a cat. Any way to set her up with a nasty tasting egg, I don't know what to use that would be nasty tasting to a cat but maybe someone else here does.

They hate cayenne pepper! I used to have a cat that liked to dig in my house plants. I sprinkled cayenne in the dirt and he got it on his paws. Stopped him in his tracks. I don't know how you'd be able to use that on an egg!

Put your cayenne in a dish and mix with water. Bore a small hole in an egg with a needle and inject the cayenne water mix and give the egg to her.
