That sounds like a bit too much of a load for any one person @goatgal35 hope all goes better from now on.

Bright sunny day here, humidity 94% so still feels like summer, grandson celebrated 3rd birthday Saturday, both families together to celebrate his and his parents return from a 2.5 year posting in Indonesia, they arrived last week, the furniture didn't, so very interesting party :)

Spending time sitting in with the junior flock, at 3.5 month nothing is clearer then it was 3 month ago ;0
some decisions will have to be made soon, just don't know which?
Possibly we will just eat them all ;)

 I am so sorry to hear about all the burdens you are having to bear all at once, @goatgal35 : your father's passing and the untimely loss of your dogs, and the added burden of having to deal with your nephews' situation foisted on you ...
I am glad that your daughter's wedding was a comfort and joy for you, at least.

  oh @goatgal35 I'm so sorry on so many counts!!!!!
Hang in there. Hopefully the grandmother will understand your situation for a little bit and things go more smoothly with the funeral behind you. Please take some time in there for YOU-even if just a few minutes every day to breath, cry, do whatever you need to do. We're here on the forum if you need to talk. And we're all thinking of you and your family right now.

@JimW how are you doing with the crutches? @goatgal35 how are you hanging in?
i didn't get anything done last weekend, so sometime hopefully in the next week i'll get to the bird moving. the little ones in the basement are too big now! and they're actually looking quite decent. time to move them outside. they're used to AC so the fall will be no problem LOL. need to set up next breeding groups....one more hatch in the incubator perking right now and trying to figure out if i can possibly make it to mount forest. it's such a long drive though! but i do have lots of birds that need to go somewhere....
and have to have a processing day soon....
they're crowing at 530 am. or if the moon is out. or if the cat walks through the barn and turns on the motion light.....
good news is i don't have a single grasshopper on my entire property!

hope everyone is doing okay!!!!!
