Well, wonder of wonders, MJ actually asked me if i was going to get some more birds?!!??!!...and she was serious..smh...anyway, have dibs on some FCMs and I have been loking for a dealer in the area tat handles Bonnies hatchery purchases..love their production PBRs...hope i can get my hands on a few more...my biggest headache at the moment is housing for the meat birds..its only a short stint of growout time so how much building do i actually need...seems like a temp trailer kinda thing might work...anyway, its still a thought in progress...at least I am thinking beforehand rather than doing and catching up, which i found myself doing again this year....been boiling syrup the last few weekends and its gone well but finishing has always been tricky so I stepped up and bought a stand tube and hydrometer...it should be here this week sometime, bur I pulled the taps yesterday...made waayyyyy more than enough syrup and still have a wee few 35 gallons of sap to boil down yet..the taste is rich, silky and oh so good...now, back to those chickens... :running-chicken:

About four days overdue, Snow White, my goat, is fat and has big boobs but no babies. Kind of reminds me of one of my old girlfriends.
