Good afternoon,

Yes I am hoping to get a few emu hatching eggs later this spring to try and hatch in my classroom and if all goes well hopefully I will end up with a couple emu. Anyone have any emu egg incubating tips and emu keeping tips?

You can try contacting XBRIT for some tips. He hatched out quite a number as I recall. He hasn't been on the forum for awhile, but you can try emailing him.

I distinctly remember when I asked if we could go collect Lucky, DH saying, "yes, thank god it's not an Emu". He knew I'd been checking out a bird on the forum.

Thanks Jaye

KB we can try and hatch one out for you. I really want Rhea but they seem to be almost non-existent in Canada Amy more. A friend of mine use to breed them but that was 20 years ago. They had some white ones like Beltsville Whote turkeys on stilts

Anyone with their last minute submissions for the picture of the month March? We start voting tomorrow! Get them in tonight.....

I'll do some maintenance tomorrow morning when I get up and had a cup of tee. Should be less than an hour. So expect the board to be down from about 7 to 8ish am eastern time. So you just enjoy your :sFun_mornincoffee: and let me :type:
Let's hope I don't get one of these :sAng_compy:

Anyways, the update is a security update and bugfix. No new features in this one.
