Christmas or Halloween?

Last night while putting up Christmas lights, a wolf started to howl, it would stop then start and each time get closer. They get so bold in the darkness. I think it would have been more fitting if I was putting up Halloween decorations. Maybe it was a comment on my singing Christmas songs.
