Me thinks heaters are more for the comfort of the care giver . A feel good feeling just be careful on sparks from worn cords , timers clicking on & off etc & combustible material . Dust , feathers & bedding etc . Luck

Thanks Ross, yes you can never be too careful with electricity and heat in a poultry barn. I even cover any spare holes in the power bar that I use to keep dust out of the electrical sockets.
