@baronrenfrew , I'm so sorry that you lost your brother, and for the family turmoil you are having to deal with. I hope your mother recovers well. She must be under added stress, losing a loved one. Cheers to you, Baron. Hang in there.

Yes, thanks all, there's multiple levels of poop with religious differences, my siblings all stubborn mules, money problems, relationships, my brother was a chainsmoker and alcoholic so we were angry with him with a self-inflicted health problem, and more.

So our side of the house is dubbed the 'monastery' and any people being negative are kicked out. Its the only way we can live beside our folks.

Sorry for your loss Baron. My sister and I are not that close but I don't know what I would do if anything happened to her. That's the reason I never really mentioned anything before, I find most people already have their own problems and no matter how big mine feel some days, there are a lot of people with much worse problems than mine, so I try to stay away from feeling sorry for myself. This site helps, chickens help as long as I don't overdo it lol.

Baron if your house feels too full at times, trust me, a big empty house feels much worse, well there is the plague of cluster flies here right now but they don't count!

Thanks for having my back everyone. I like the type of people on this site compared to others, I find you guys "real" if you get my meaning. Thanks OC for calling me young! A lot of my trouble as well is I have to travel far for work, so many hours a week just driving to and back. The big stresser however is dealing with my mom's Alzheimer's, she is in care now but there are a lot of behavioral issues with her and reactions to medications etc, etc, so every other day I have to take time off work and go to see some kind of doctor or specialist with her; however nothing ever works, there is no change.
From my point of view EVERYBODY is young ;) but you are definitely young (ish) in the poultry community.
I can't even wrap my head around dealing with a parent with Alzheimers and my heart goes out to you.
But you really must concentrate on taking care of yourself and not putting on your plate anymore that you already have.
Having animals around is one of the most rewarding and satisfying things I know, until it becomes too much and then all the benefits go out the window.
I hope your mothers condition stabilizes enough that there is time for you to get some Me time. :Shark:
