Can't believe it, I've never seen so many butterflys in one spot. Out in the horse field I have a large patch of asters. The butterflys were all over them, mostly monachs but some viceroys and those yellow butterflys, I forget what kind they are.

Beautiful!
I noticed an unusual amount of butterflies flitting around some of the annuals I planted in a south facing foundation bed yesterday too. I've never seen that many in one place in our yard before.

Me too! We've been invaded by Tortoiseshells on the Agastache. It's wonderful :)

They may have all decided to stay here rather then migrate to Mexico?

None here today, so I think they were just passing through on their migration route.

Beautiful!!

Sadly we have not hardly seen any Monarch's here again this year and we have a field of Milk Weed, Asters, Goldenrod, Crown Vetch and False Sunflowers??

Glad others are seeing them though :yay:
