Great idea listing these, thanks Bert. Interesting thing about the Ladysmith event, about 35 years ago a group of horse back riders started a ride from my area to Ladysmith for this event. It's about a two day ride and has grown over the years to include chuckwagons the whole nine yards. Some years there can be close to forty riders and seven or eight wagons. The funny thing is it's mostly local people and farmers so they have kept this quiet. Every fall they pass by my farm and I get to have my own secret parade that no one knows about. Lol

Aye, the only problem is that I don't have a robot car yet :racer: and after four beers I fall asleep, so anywhere i go I have a two beer max (and the 1 litre glass is three beers!). Another 5 years and robot cars will be available.

What I miss is the culture that comes with beer drinking: be it singing, food (sausage, beer, schnitzel etc.) or theological discussion (Martin Luther was known for a beer with discussions of God).

Little Italy in Ottawa is having a tomato festival (with tomato throwing)..darn....I can't find good info.

I have tomatoes that I could give them, they are extra extra juicy because I left them too long, so not good to eat but would be really good at smushing someone!

I'm a cheap date, two beers and I'm done, lol.
