RIP Bo

Post by Happy » Thu Aug 10, 2017 8:13 pm

Well the day finally came that I had to help my my loyal buddy along and out of his pain.
I found Bo in a garbage dumpster and took him home to Foster him for 2 nights. That was 18 years ago. He saw me through separation, divorce, family births and deaths. I know cats aren't typically viewed as friends the way dogs are but Bo has been a constant for me.
He beat both dogs up the first time he saw each of them just to show them he could lol. They respected him and he never touched them after that. And at the same time he shared his supper plate with a bratty little rooster and never harmed a feather on him.
RIP my friend. You'll be missed.

So sorry for your loss.

I'm a dog person, but I still understand the loss of a good furry friend.

Happy....i feel your loss....we had a cat like Bo..beige brown tabby..."Ziggy" ...was with us 19 years...set the standard for cats in my head and I have been reluctant to get another, basically out of the fear it won't measure up ...i miss him a lot and although cats are basically basta.ds...i have a huge respect for the animal...being a dog person thats quite the admission...remember Bo always..it will bring a smile to your lips in years to come

So sorry for your loss, Happy. We have had several cats over the years that were part of our family and they were every bit as difficult to say goodbye to as the dogs that have been part of our lives.
RIP, Bo.

So sorry for your loss Happy
It's never easy to lose one if your closest friends
Many cat and or dog people will understand that they truly are best friends!
You were very lucky to have him for so many years and I'm sure you have lots of memories

Sorry for your loss Happy. I love cats and other animals. They all leave an empty space in your house when they pass on.

Loss of companion animals is always difficult, and the ones with along shared history are most difficult to let go.
You gave him lovely life, that's the important part to remember.
