Quail eggs

Post by kenya » Thu Aug 03, 2017 3:02 pm

Had extra quail eggs so I hard boiled them. Delicious. My husband will likely take them to work to snack on. The quail are absolutely amazing layers. I get an egg every day without fail but those males they do not leave the hens alone.

They look great. Hopefully my new quail start laying soon. The eggs are great high protein snacks. I soak the boiled eggs in vinegar to soften / dissolve the shell for easy peeling.

So neat! Any word yet on whether or not quail eggs relieve allergies?

The little girl whos taking them for allergies her mother says she is much better, not as many asthma attacks and when she does have one not as bad as previously.

Throw some Spicy Herbamare on those with a little Avocado oil and that is a great snack.

I should see if I can buy some Quail eggs for eats.

.....I still hold onto the dream of someday having backyard Quail. Too busy currently.
