The latest agricultural scandal from Europe, an insecticide used on laying hens laced with an illegal and toxic one to increase efficacy. :barf:

Fipronel is the active ingredient in Frontline, a spot-on product which is used on dogs to prevent fleas and ticks.

yep....i know people that use it too (and recommend using it).....if it works that long, and gets into the eggs, i wonder if it gets into the eggs for the duration of the effective period. if it does, withdrawal will have to be between 1 and 3 months for eggs, kinda defeats the purpose of having chickens for eggs if treated this way for mites/lice!
