Happy Canada Day to everyone. What are you all doing to celebrate? Hopefully the rain stays away for the fireworks. We don't go into town (Thunder Bay) for the celebration, but we stay in the country at a local community South Gillies. I like the smaller crowd and the fireworks are great. Have a fantastic day you all.

All the celebrations cancelled here due to weather. Hope they manage to get them in tomorrow for the folks and kids especially.

That's a bummer Killerbunny. I bet there are other places cancelled too. They might be here too, as they are calling for showers this afternoon and evening. There is probably a celebration, but the fireworks may or may not happen. We are watching the celebration on TV and may just decide to stay home.

Look like we are getting a thunderstorm here now. The thunder roars. What a bummer!

For me here its pouring rain and thundering, if it keeps up no fireworks maybe they'll have them Sunday instead. I'm off so I could go if they did.

Right when I wrote that last post a big thud of thunder and my hydro went out for a minute shutting down my computer, so I had to shut everything down and unplug things. It's such a bummer, as it's been a tradition for our family to meet at the community centre every year for Canada Day. Doesn't look good. Maybe I'll invite them all to come here and watch the celebration on tv.
