What the heck is happening. I have this problem every now and again. Sometimes it's when I am on poultry talk, sometimes I could be on kijiji or any other site. I only have an android phone and my internet is only through it. I will be typing something and suddenly the letters don't follow what I am typing, then it's like someone else is typing, not really like a person but more like a program, the letters don't form words. Sometimes it starts to take over and open other windows, my email, my texts messages and I can't turn the phone off. I go down stairs and that looses net connection, then I can erase the cookies and history and get control of my phone again. Anybody know what the heck this is? Tonight, just now for the first time it did start to spell words before I stopped it. :sAng_compy:

My last phone did that for a couple weeks after I dropped it in a bucket of water...Not all the time, it was pretty random. Maybe moisture?

I googled it.. could be digitizer or water damage? How old is the phone?

My first surface pro 3 did this. Luckily under warranty. I was quite surprised to see that it was shown on a youtube.

They couldn't fix it, so I got a new one.

I agree with nekoatsume, likely the digitizer that analyzes your touch. It could be water or static electricity on you messing it up.

Thank you, I went online and it sounds exactly like the problem I am having. The phone is nearly four years old and there is a kink developing in the screen so that is probably why it's happening. Thank you Martin as well, at least now I know it's not some strange hacking program.
