Wow. The last few lines of that article are awesome. The symbol should be a mushroom cloud, not some benign looking plant thing. Poor hubby is desperate for a steak and I won't buy any meat. Maybe if he reads this article he'll be inspired to go out and butcher our heifer :)

OC look at the trouble you have caused (lol) what kind of anti food protest have you started!!! Lol

I never eat any kind of lunch meat, I only use "real" meat on a sandwich etc. I think I am lucky in that I seem to have some built in warning system, all lunch meat smells rotten to me, like road kill from a distance, so I can't eat it. When I was a kid, our farm vets would only eat meat from local farmers and never from a store, they would always tell us to not buy it, that should raise some concerns. Also it's believed that processed meat can cause pancreatic cancer, the most fatal type of cancer, trust me, you want to do everything to avoid that.

Re-watched "Pink ribbon Inc" last night turns out it made me more angry this time then 5 years ago when I first saw it.
Just a reminder how important it is to be aware what we put in our bodies one way or another.

I watched that twice on TVO, isn't that completely shameful the way companies would sell their grandmother if they thought it would turn a profit.

On another note, TVO carries some of the best documentaries but did you know that unless a person has cable or satellite tv it will be going off the air in July!!! Wasn't that the point of stations like TVO and the CBC to reach remote corners of Canada.

You will be happy to hear that under intense pressure of viewers and DONORS, they have reversed that decision.
