Sometimes you find willpower in odd places

Post by Happy » Wed Feb 01, 2017 4:21 pm

Ok was it too much to ask for to just have one darned Boston cream donut?!?!? I've been so good and eating healthy and not had a cigarette and now I guess my taste buds are changing and I can't find a brand of coffee that tastes like it should so that is brutal for a coffee lover. So I stopped at Tim's to grab a donut as a treat and all I wanted was a Boston cream. And they were out. I swear I almost cried lol.
Turned around and left without buying a thing. Yes this is whining but at that moment it felt like the most unfair thing!

it's okay Happy, emotions run rampant when you have quit!!!!
i had a monumental breakdown last night when the darned fireants started going again in places that i thought they were done with the nerve healing. i am nowhere where i want to be with the healing, but i am still going....it's okay to have a moment of weakness, or feel bad over something little. for me it was having to endure another 30 minutes of emptying the friggin dryer one piece of clothing at a time with the reacher. it really really SUCKS. gah! i can't get into the oven. i can't reach the back of the fridge, or the bottom shelf. the reachers all are just not built "the way I would build them" so i am constantly afraid that i'm going to break them.....i need stainless steel about to pick up 5 pounds. not plastic able to sort of scrape a t shirt out of the dryer.
tomorrow is my followup and i sure hope for a release from being stuck in the house and not being able to go anywhere.....this is brutal. or at least let me get into the pool! or something other than the OMG BORING TREADMILL. gah!

I hear you. At least you didn't have your surgery (and the following pergatory) in spring/summer or fall when it's gorgeous and sunny and you want to be outside 18 hours a day! Ok that was me trying to look on the bright side lol.
Yes I've been a bit of a bad mood on wheels today. I've been trying hard to hide that from hubby just to prove him wrong!
I'm making 1/3 a recipe of peanut butter cookies tonight. I deserve it.
Hope everything goes great tomorrow WLLady and your leash gets loosened up a bit!

WOOOOT WOOT!
3 weeks and counting....And 4 pounds and counting lol...
However...My blood pressure is up (still low but higher than my norm) heart rate average is DOWN and I'm feeling good. Everything's tasting odd...Not better just odd. And I swear I can smell that fresh clean ozone smell outside. Just finished week #4 of the 12 week program of champix. I hate it but I know it's helping me do this. It has my sleeping pattern completely screwed up and I am having the most horrifying dreams...Like B horror movie stuff that I can't even believe comes from my imagination. They wake me up and I can't get back to sleep. I figure 84 nights of crappy sleep is a small price to pay to get a new improved me.
