Cantley pheasant tour
So we kicked around the idea to visit this place....
http://www.faisansdescollines.com/Photos.php
"Here's a pheasant aviary I must visit soon.. They have guided tours on appointment. Faisandary des Collins in Cantly Qc 30 mins from Ottawa.
Hmmm...we should do a PTO group tour on a Saturday or Sunday in January: its less than a 2 hour drive for many of us and we can have lunch somewhere. We can meet in Ottawa for breakfast and carpool from there. Bring the kids, grandkids, spouses...."
So the last Saturday of January, the 28, is best for me, the first weekend of February is out of contention due to a car race near there. Also later dates are fine for me; Saturday is best as we have church on Sunday. What works for your schedules? Once we have a likely date i'll call them and ask if it works for them.
We should figure what weather report would have to happen to cancel (freezing rain or 20cm's or more snow or colder than -20 C). We should aim to meet Ontario side so some of us could double up for the Quebec leg.

Definitely interested! As far as I know, I'm off that Saturday and Sunday ( I work every 2nd weekend) but not sure yet about Friday night. If I don't work that Friday night, it's a go for me :)

I think Jan 28th works for me.
We might have to see if they have any birds currently left for sale if we are heading up there a shame to come home empty handed.

I'm good, that works for me. I am also flexible so I will go whenever everyone decides if people prefer a different date. I would however have to meet you guys there since I will be coming from the opposite direction, I am about 45 minutes north of that guy so it doesn't make sense for me to drive to Ottawa.
