baronrenfrew wrote:QR_BBPOST Jim can no longer make it this saturday. I have some challenges as well so it suits me to change date. Since nobody of the remaining group plans to buy I propose we change date to mid Feb: the 11th or 18th.
Expect a phone call from me tonite.

Jan? Does one of those work for you?
I will find out what my schedule is tonight for sure, but since I work this weekend and every second weekend, The 15th will probably be the better date. Can't guarantee at the moment, since half our staff is sick, but it should be all over by then so I won't have to cover for anyone.

:-) at the office they call me the Hermit. I see clients and drop off paperwork at office late evenings. Nobody bugs me, the job gets done, and I don't put up wih folks who want to "shoot the breeze".

Plus I use farm stories to explain things to clients. Investing in equity funds is like planting an apple tree: you have good years and bad years. But the long term average is 8%.

Not at all, sounds perfectly sensible to me ;)
Can't tell you how annoyed I was when 20 years after moving out of Ottawa, the city caught up with us yet again.

Bert...the problem with "long term average" is there is only short term left to me...lol..and young people think they have all the time in the world...catch 22...

hana...i can guess on the annoyance...its the citiots...they want their piece of 'paradise' and as soon as they get it, they want to change it ..and usually into a citylike environment...there goes paradise

Bert..,an 8N?..awesome...an improvement however minor on my 2N...fantastic tractors...

Yep, that was a fun machine. I lack the skill to keep it running good so I sold it. Also my place is all rolling hills and I wanted 1. Roll bar 2. 4 wheel drive 3. Loader 4. Locking rear diff
