Yes it's that time of the year when we celebrate the Solstice and the return of the sun to longer days.
Have a good one folks!

Aye, we'll make a fire and dance around (its a wee bit cold to do it in the buff). Pass the spiced wine!

I'm not saying get rid of the stupid people, I'm saying do away with the warning labels and let the problem work its self out.

Seriously, Maximus?! Don't despair - it's only just the beginning of winter, temp and snow-wise. The winter solstice is hope to cling to for those of us who don't do well going into work and coming home in perpetual darkness. ;-)

Aye, as we get more sunlight we get a bit more heat and then our best friend "Lake Effect Snow"! Woohoo!

We've had some wonderful lake effect snow. I tried to teach Ava how to do snow angels but she just thinks it's play time.
I'm looking forward to a super deep freeze in January, record breaking lows for February and snow in April! Wooohooo
