Was in TSC and saw a cute Chicken Calendar (don't judge, I know you want one). 18 month calendar - 12 months 2017 pretty pics and 6 month planning section. Look closer, planning section is for July - Dec 2016! Ooops, call assistant we open calendar, yup sure enough there's a problem. Check through other calendar types and every one has the same problem. Didn't want to spend 18.99 on that.

WOW talk about an expensive mistake!!! I wonder how many editors that passed through before it was pressed into production and passed on to retail stores. you would think somewhere along the line someone would actually look at the darn calender instead of the pics.

It was a shame the pics were cute!

Maybe I am out in the left field, but would it not make sense for a calendar printer to add a few month before the year so that the calendar can be printed in a not so busy season and sold before the year?

Yes but they only just became available. It would make more sense to have 2017 with a planning part for Jan - June 2018.
