Image Hosting

Post by KimChick » Tue Nov 29, 2016 10:52 pm

Just spent the last 30-45 minutes on my Photobucket account and it would not let me copy the image link for me to post. Plus it was getting jumpy. :gaah:
Can anyone recommend reliable image hosting site?
Thanks.

Poultry Talk Ontario! just upload your pics here and skip all the image hosting sites!!! I never liked them much and therefore I've never used them so I really cant comment on them much.

PTO is by far the easiest Forum to post picture, right after you realize you don't have to use picture hosting site, although they would like you to use them and buy something in the process.
The one I used to use in the "olden days" , now has a game included on their entry page, that was the last straw.
So Thank you PTO for your genius set up.
I think how to post picture should be included in "How do I " Sticky?

Hmm... It's not the Insert image icon because that inserts a link to an image. It's not a URL.
OK... I give up; I can't see how to do it.
2 minutes later....
Having checked the FAQ's, I may not have been given administrative permision to post a picture using PTO and not an image host site.

No we dont restrict members from posting pics instead we encourage it! :-)

down below the msg box is an add file or attachments tab depending on whether your on a computer or phone.

here I'm on the quick reply box.

this is from the regular post page, its the same either when replying to post or creating a new one. below the msg box is 2 tabs, one is attachments. click on the attachments tab.

on the attachments tab click add files, find your pics on your device, and then upload them.

if you want to insert them into your post like I just did click on place inline.

It certainly does help. Did I look below the message box in the first place? Nope! Was just focusing on the 2 rows on the toolbar above.
Thanks Al!
Now I will go and post the rooster's pink butt.

Great! Now what do I click to change the "Question" to "Answered". I think I saw it once; now I lost it.
