And now for something completely different LOL. SO...got a new job, started yesterday. Well, technically start Monday, yesterday was 6 hours and 50 mins. of paperwork and 10 mins. of tour and meet and greet. Completely new to me in pretty much every way, and it pretty much fell into my lap from out of the blue, so I figured there must be a good reason and I grabbed the bull by the horns. Laundry aide in a nursing home is the official job title. It's "part time", 24 hours a week guaranteed and 20 hours on call/as needed...BUUUUT it pays quite a bit more/hr. than either of my other two jobs, and gives me more hours/week than the other two combined. ANNNDD after 60 shifts I get full benefits same as full time. Very generous ones that cover pretty much all of everything. Seems like a really good place to work for, and of the people I've met, good people to work with. Met a bunch of the residents too, and from what I've seen and heard, they're a pretty decent bunch too. I'm looking forward to chatting with them all. The job will keep me hustling, which is good. I'm no stranger to

, which isn't a prerequisite, but in my new job,

happens. A lot of

.
So got a flu shot and a TB test, have to pick up some scrubs before Monday and go get a Vulnerable Sector record check a.s.a.p.and book a physical to make sure I'm not going to spread ebola or something
I'm oddly, strangely kind of happy about this. I forgot to ask exactly what my starting salary is, I was just given a range, but all other things considered it doesn't matter--I would have jumped ship from Tim's and P & G for minimum wage. Or less :Shark: For the first time in my life, I can say YES, I AM A QUITTER and oddly enough I'm OK with it
