Sooo, the block heater for my tractor burned out. It's an old girl 674 International, where would be a good place to get one? I heard an auto parts store may be able to do that, because there are no dealerships close to me.

Thanks Ross, I didn't think of TSC. I wonder about the co-op stores as well?

Block heater is not likely model specific. It's just a heater plugged into hoses that feed in and out.

We have an International 584 and its a generic model plugged into hoses. Same as my sister's 684. Our old john deere 710 same thing.

Oh for Pete's sake that was easy, lol yes Baron that's pretty much what is on there now, thank you. The 474 has the same thing so I was wondering if it was something just generic. It never occurred to me to try Canadian tire, there is a mega box store near my work. I thought I would have to get it from a parts store.

Thank you Ross as well.

I was lucky, it worked the day before but when I checked it I could feel it was cold. I shook the wire a bit and suddenly there was smoke and sparks. Lucky it didn't take on fire the day before.
