I'm ordering my next batch of herbs etc., and I'd like to sprout some greens over the winter for the flock. Can I get some suggestions as to what they potentially would like the most pls.

If you can buy organic, peas, wheat, barley, etc. from your feed supplier, they will sprout fine and likely be more economical. I think chickens will like anything green in the middle of winter. My favorite is alfalfa with a dash of ACV and salt and pepper, but I'm not a chicken so can't say if they would agree :)

My birds like sprouted sunflower seeds. I sprouted black oil SS last winter. Though mine are not very picky.

I plan on trying zprouting afain this winter, once I get another batch of black oil sunflower seeds from WapoosCowgirl later this fall.

Hoping to try some other types as well.
