if those are only a week off hatching they're all good!!!!! it's hard to see, i would like to think i see blood vessels too, but i am also a chicken addict. LOL. eggs should be pretty dark by now with nice big air sacs (you can see those beautifully in your photos!). fingers crossed!

Hubby has been toying with the idea of incubating and hatching. I'm going to check out this App (because I'm the one with the cell phone, and because I can!)

I officially declare myself finished hatching!!! My neighbour is hatching some of my ee's so that doesn't count even though he will give them back to me in the fall. I laughed this morning, the hatching bug is so bad that last night I was dreaming the chicks I have now were old enough to start laying. So in my dream I was excited thinking that I could make olive egger bantams by crossing my ee's with my Welsummers! Hahaha, hey wait a minute...... that's a great idea!

I tried the app, I didn't like it, the notifications didn't always notify  . Marking my old-fashioned paper calendar works for me. Besides, I candle every couple of days, so I know by appearance when to expect babies. Besides, I'm too...anal?...to just trust my precious hatches to a little piece of code

Don't trust any code you haven't written yourself.... Free after W. Churchill.
