Mice control

This is amazing in its simplicity. Doubt a really wild mouse, or rat would stay contained. Definitely not into the whole catch and release other than to offer the pack some amusement.

Yep, mice are the "snack food" of the animal world. Keeping owls and foxes fed.

This time of the year, when apples come in to the cold storage mice seem to follow, this year only caught one visitor and after repairing the small opening it must have gotten thru, that seems to be it for the year. :xfingers:
Amazing how much damage one mouse can do to a basket of apples.

It was potatoes here. One year I discovered that Muppet had clearly been ignoring the mouse that was storing things under the sofa! When we moved in and redid the kitchen we found there was a Mouse Highway between the garage and kitchen. The cupboards were built ins. The old cat, Quincy, seemed to be eating a lot of food and then we discovered a stockpile under the cabinets when we took them out.

roflmbo
which reminds me, one year I was finding an awful lots of sunflower seed shell in the bag, suspecting the feed store,
until taking apart and bunk bed stored in the basement and there was a stockpile of sunflower seeds between hollowed out foam mattresses, nicely lined with bits of foam.

I seem to have an extra large amount of mice this year. Last year it was flymageddon, lucky for me this year not many flies.

The mouse trap video is not working. I was thinking about making the water bucket trap but the thought of them slowly drowning bothers me, I must be getting soft in my old age. I have no problem with the traps because they die right away.... usually.
