Went out to check around this am. The back wall of the shed torn off (plastic one, no biggie) but a heavy wood and plastic cover on the babies coop had been lifted off, missed their coop thank goodness and been lifted clean over the fence into the turkey paddock, missed another 6ft tall coop and dumped about 100ft away. I heard rushing and banging noises when I was inside the coop last night. HOWEVER at the time this happened environment Canada has the winds recorded at around 24km/hr max. I am <1km from the weather station!

We were watching the radar pictures yesterday, saying oh oh, Gill is getting the brunt of it.
It just seemed to be so local, all we got was really loud thunder basically making a circle around us and presumably going downtown Ottawa. we got few drops, just enough to water the Mechlun and romaine came up in 3 days, which BTW some sort of a record there.
Glad all animals and persons are OK dress code notwithstanding. :)

Dug up the "garlic" today, such as it is. SO much water it did not bad considering.

Ours is very un even, curing now, will see how it looks in another week.
Will have to lift potatoes, the tops are going.
Had the red for lunch, considering they were sprouting leaves when I planted them , pretty good, but will not store them again, who wants potatoes growing in cold storage in January ?

I am going to try to store but they are so early the cold store isn't yet!
Thought I posted already but we moved Sister to her maternity coop for her upcoming hatch
