hope stephen straightens up and flies right soon!
That is his problem. He flies like a brick and he's in moult so he has even less aerodynamics than usual! Now the little feathered darts in the coop fly just fine but I swear they aim at you!

Well the kids finally bought a house. They sorta moved out last weekend. They're gone, but quite a bit of their stuff is still here. Hubby left for England last Monday for three months for work. I have gone from a family of six to just me overnight. I miss all of them, but I'm looking forward to getting a lot done around here.

Stephen had a line up of 4 ladies this evening vying for his attentions! DId his best but looked quite relieved when I took him off to his own coop to recover.

Good evening down visiting my parents with my girls. Took my 2 daughters and my dad out fishing yesterday on Lake Ontario with my buddy who charters for salmon. We caught a few. All nicely cleaned and vaccum packed for the freezer.

Ohhh, I hate bumble foot!!!! Hoping for a speedy, 100% recovery for Stephen!
Congrats on the empty nest, goatgal, just remember, when it gets too quiet in the house, it helps to fill it with bird peeps and cheeps :D
Jim! "Only a few" fish? Wow! What's your secret?

Woohoo! Sounds like a vacation to me! Maybe a few good books and a bottle (case?) of wine.
