Being where i am in my japanese bantam breeding program i have run into the problem where I have (not to b cocky) pretty well the best black tailed white japs in canada, the problem was I could not find excellent quality japs to enhance my breeding program
After lots of sweet talking and lots of big favours i just got 2 beautiful males up from carolina. From the best jap breeder(jmo) jimmy morgan, a friend of mine

Primarily i breed a female line with the hens always better then the cocks, i hope these males will make them even better

Breeding is back on now so here's hoping
Will post pictures when they finish there moult

To all the showers or just backyard breeders
Keep enjoying the hobby and hatchin babies most important have fun and meet lifelong friends in this amazing hobby

Congratulations! Always hard trying to find stock to improve your own when your dealing with a heritage / unusual breed and in a specific colour.

They are cute little guys, I had a black jap rooster for a while, I really like him just I didn't want too many breeds so I didn't keep him. It's funny to hear hen lines or rooster line of breeding but I totally get it, my Cochin bantam hens I feel are pretty close to the show types but when I look at the boys I think "are you guys even the same breed"? Congrats on improving your line.
