Rice ok for chickens? I have regular and basmati left over from dinner ..

iv feed pretty much everything to the birds, about the only thing they wont eat in my experience is onions...

Hmmm, there's purple onion in it and lots of garlic. Chicken stir fry ... Well it will be served for breakfast and we'll see what they leave behind.
I know the chicken will be gone first lol

Given the choice between regular and basmati, the chickens will ignore the regular and choose the basmati.

Interesting, given choice between Iceberg and any other greens/lettuce, they will ignore iceberg, perhaps we should pay more attention to diet preferences of chickens?

My gals got leftover basmati tonight lol. Like sharks feeding when i throw it in the coop!

Really?!! Very interesting. Im a basmati and jasmine all the way. These Italians that reside here are boring white rice or risotto.

My guys will have nothing to do with lettuce or greens!! But will pick at grass all day.
