Hard to believe this one!!!

Post by Rhonda » Thu Apr 07, 2016 9:39 pm

So hubby and I went out tonight and bought a pair of kayaks! A story in its own right but not the story of the night. Bring them home and I go open the barn door and turn on the light so we can store them in one of the empty stalls. Dog comes in and starts sniffing and running around. Starts barking like a maniac and I hear this weird almost hissing sound. He is at the live trap, left it set up after we killed our weasel. Not baited with anything but some now old and mouldy rat pellets...and inside--another damn weasel. How long did we try to catch the other one, tempting it with all kinds of good weasel treats and this one just stumbles into an open live trap!! Could not believe it but sure happy we got it. Funny thing Hubby had just rebaited the kill traps after work, just in case.

That is great, perhaps it's a wife looking to see what happened to her husband who went shopping and never came back? ;)
